If you have been following my posts at all, you will have noticed that I’ve mentioned this particular eBook a number of times. Real Food Storage: How to’s & Recipes has been an eye opening book for me and one I will recommend to any real foodie wanted to learn how to be more prepared. I got my copy last fall and began implementing some of the tips immediately. Thankfully, I’ve been able to tap into my food storage on two different occasions when things got tight. I am currently using the information and recipes in this eBook to help with my tight budget. If you have looked into food storage and preparedness at all, you will know that most plans out there are loaded with cheap processed foods. This book teaches you how to store and plan with REAL food. Not only that, but real food with limitations such as the need to be gluten or dairy free.
I wrote more about the book in this post here last year – so go on over and read more. What I love about this book is that it has helped me to really change the way I think about food and planning. It’s also loaded with some great gluten free sourdough recipes – I personally can’t eat a lot of starch, but it’s nice to be able to make some of these kinds of recipes for my kids and guests. I now have a recipe for flat bread that I can serve at dinner gatherings. So, if you are gluten free the recipes are an absolute bonus! I’ve tried many of the recipes and we have enjoyed them all!
