Giveaway: 1 Quart Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil (a $40 value)

by lydia on March 18, 2013

For the past 4 years or so, I’ve become a coconut oil addict. Every possible chance I get, I find a way to use coconut oil. I’ve been putting coconut oil in my tea daily for years and have managed to inspire others to do the same. I love coconut flavored things thankfully. I know some people don’t. I find it hard to believe, but they just don’t know what they are truly missing I suppose. Coconut oil is an absolute staple in my home, when I run out, it’s a very sad day indeed!

By now you’ve certainly heard of all the amazing benefits of coconut oil, so I won’t go into the endless list. Today, I want to share about one of my favorite coconut oils out there. Not all coconut oils on the market are created equal. I get questions a lot about which one to buy and why. Some people just go for cheap, while others are concerned about optimum quality. I want to share the benefits of this particular coconut oil over others.

First of all, Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is unrefined, small batch prepared and has the highest antioxidant count of any coconut oil out there. Learn more about the entire process of creating this particular oil.

Many oils on the market are more refined in some way. Personally, I want the highest quality I can get for eating purposes, and use the expeller pressed for cooking with. That’s why I love this coconutty flavored oil, especially in my morning cup of tea!

Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil - 32 oz.Win 1 quart of Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil!

Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oil. Their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is hand crafted in small batches by family producers, and it is the highest quality coconut oil they offer. You can read more about how virgin coconut oil is different from other coconut oils on their website: What is Virgin Coconut Oil?

You can also watch the video they produced about Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil:

Tropical Traditions also carries other varieties of affordable high quality coconut oil. Visit their website to check on current sales, to learn about the many uses of coconut oil, and to read about all the advantages of buying coconut oil online. Since the FDA does not want us to discuss the health benefits of coconut oil on a page where it is being sold or given away, here is the best website to read about the health benefits of coconut oil.

Today, I’m giving away 1 quart of Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil to one lucky winner! This is a retail value of $40.

I use coconut oil to cook my daughter’s food! 😀
(She’s 11.5 months, turns 1 April 6th.)

Elizabeth March 18, 2013 at 12:04 pm

Coconut oil is the best!! I put it in my coffee, cook with it, and use it as diaper cream, moisturizer, etc. Its a staple here!

Danielle March 18, 2013 at 12:04 pm

We switched to VCO about 3 yrs ago. I use it for everything! I cook with it and use it instead of butter as a spread. I put it on my face and hair, and don’t have dry patches on my face anymore. My hair is silk smooth and shiny now as well. I also noticed I don’t fight with my belly pooch as much. Before it would stubbornly refuse to leave without a 3 day water fast!

Julie March 18, 2013 at 12:06 pm

I’m really in need of some coconut oil now!

Sherry March 19, 2013 at 2:12 pm

I cook with expeller pressed coconut oil. We use c.o. on our skin and to brush our teeth. I also use it for oil pulling. I would appreciate the added benefit of consuming (uncooked) virgin c.o.

Vickie March 20, 2013 at 2:48 pm

First, thanks for the giveaway. I haven’t tried coconut oil yet, but did finally break down and buy the cheap stuff at walmart. Doing good to afford that. I know the Tropical Traditions is much better, but a person has to do what a person has to do. I would love to win this, but I don’t twitter. So I won’t have very many entries. Thanks again.

Becki March 20, 2013 at 2:52 pm

I am disappointed that I have to follow on twitter to be able to get to the other 15 entries. I do not use twitter and have no plans to use it.

greenhills March 20, 2013 at 6:26 pm

Cindy March 24, 2013 at 9:55 pm

I haven’t used coconut oil before, but I am looking to pick up on more healthier habits! I have heard from several people that coconut oil has major health benefits, and I am interested in adding it to my daily intake for a healthier future. This past month I have been looking into slowly transitioning into a healthier lifestyle. I am currently 22 years old, and in the last year I have started drinking green tea and taking a spoon full of honey and cinnamon almost everyday. So I think I am off to a start, winning a jar of coconut oil would definitely help.

I’ve never heard of your website before, but hopefully the newsletter can remind me to be informed and focused on staying healthy. =)

Bryan Morrow March 25, 2013 at 4:07 pm

How long will 1 quart of coconut oil be good for at room temperature or at fridge oil? Would like to know. Unsaturated oil.

Valerie April 23, 2013 at 1:01 pm

I would love to win this unrefined oil because I don’t have any and have heard that it is full of so many nutritional benefits!
