Giveaway: 1 Gallon Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil (a $120 value)

by lydia on April 22, 2013

Are you as cuckoo for coconut oil as I am? Tropical Traditions Gold Label is my favorite coconut oil for two reasons: the high antioxidants and the way it is hand produced and essentially ‘fermented’. Truly, it is a one of a kind coconut oil. If you don’t like the coconut oil flavor in your oil, you may not appreciate this particular oil. Let’s talk more about this awesome product that I get to giveaway to you today!

First of all, Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is unrefined, small batch prepared and has the highest antioxidant count of any coconut oil out there. Learn more about the entire process of creating this particular oil.

Many oils on the market are more refined in some way. Personally, I want the highest quality I can get for eating purposes, and use the expeller pressed for cooking with. That’s why I love this coconutty flavored oil, especially in my morning cup of tea!

Win 1 gallon of Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil!

Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oil. Their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is hand crafted in small batches by family producers, and it is the highest quality coconut oil they offer. You can read more about how virgin coconut oil is different from other coconut oils on their website: What is Virgin Coconut Oil?

You can also watch the video they produced about Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil:

Tropical Traditions also carries other varieties of affordable high quality coconut oil. Visit their website to check on current sales, to learn about the many uses of coconut oil, and to read about all the advantages of buying coconut oil online. Since the FDA does not want us to discuss the health benefits of coconut oil on a page where it is being sold or given away, here is the best website to read about the health benefits of coconut oil.

Today, I’m giving away 1 gallon of Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil to one lucky winner! This is a retail value of $120 though currently on sale for $75 (click here to purchase).

I love VCO in my smoothies! Also, we love it in place of KY (shhhh)! I believe it is what helped me to test negative on the Group B Strep test with my last pregnancies (after testing positive on the two previous pregnancies!

How will I not use it is the better question!? Cooking oil, in my coffee, deodorant, facial/body moisturizer, toothpaste, and anything else I can put it in! After recently introducing my husband to tropical traditions coconut oil, he is even eating it to help with his weight. I even caught him reading the book that the company sent me!

My 3 year old was born with a lymphatic malformation. Her system is so sensitive that I’ve had to change the way I clean, cook and care for my family. Coconut oil has become a staple in our home. We use it for cooking, baking, cleaning, first aid and personal care… It’s in every room of our house. We would LOVE to win this giveaway! We sure do <3 coconut oil. :-)

Margot C April 25, 2013 at 3:17 am

I have been baking with coconut oil a lot recently, it really works well.

In my daily cup of coffee, and in baking!

Fio April 25, 2013 at 12:29 pm

If I were to win I’d use my coconut oil for pretty much everything! Eat it, rub it on my skin and in my hair, make soaps, lotions, toothpaste and other home care potions with it. I guess I’d really just be happy that I had so much and wouldn’t have to worry about running out for a while, so I could follow all my coconut oil dreams. :)

Rhonda April 25, 2013 at 12:32 pm

Cherie D April 25, 2013 at 2:03 pm

I use coconut oil, especially Tropical Traditions’ phenomenal brand, in cooking (like coconut fudge), my morning coffee, and almost every recipe that requires oil or fat. But I also use it to clean my face, as natural deodorant, after a shower as a moisturizer, and I mix it with essential oils to make my own “vaporub” for colds/congestion, and as a natural bug repellent. I feed it to my dog, who used to suffer terribly from arthritis, and now rarely has discomfort, and so much more! :-)

Susan B April 25, 2013 at 2:09 pm

I used some today to make almond butter! Made it a little creamier.

Deborah April 25, 2013 at 4:40 pm

I use coconut oil everyday. I fry with it, make recipes with it, and use it as a skin moisturizer!

Vivian Q. April 27, 2013 at 11:36 am

I use it for everything! I cook with it, use it on my skin and hair, use it in making scrubs and even my dogs get the coconut oil treatment.
