It’s been quite some time since I’ve hosted a monthly challenge. Life has been busier than I could have anticipated, but now it’s time to take the plunge and get back on that monthly challenge horse and ride! This next challenge is a 1-3 month challenge that I’ll be hosting. How many of you have ever considered doing an elimination diet to find your hidden food sensitivities as well as to resolve chronic health issues you’ve been facing? I bet many of you have, but have not found the time or the motivation. That’s why I’m hosting this challenge, because tackling challenges are that much more doable when done with a support system.
Recently I wrote a post; ‘How To Do An Elimination Diet‘. I also happen to be running an online course all about how to heal your gut and improve your digestion. So, you can appreciate my passion to help people work to eliminate problem foods to support healing their gut. The gut is the seat of the immunity and a key place to heal if you have any kind of immune related health issue. Please read; ‘How To Do An Elimination Diet‘ so you can get the basics and mentally prepare yourself to take on this challenge.
The Elimination Diet Challenge:
- Official elimination diet start date is July 8th. This will get us through the 4th of July holiday and give us 2 weeks to gear up. Then, it’s up to you how long you want to commit to it. I recommend at least 3 weeks with about 2 weeks to reintroduce foods. However, I suggest if you have more serious health conditions, like an auto-immune condition you consider a full 3 month game plan.

I will be doing my own elimination diet plan and will be posting regularly about it through July, August & September. I am only available as a support to others, not to dole out advice or coaching per se. I will be posting about the challenge during the 3 months -so be sure to subscribe to my feed and stay up on the challenge that way.
- There are no prizes for this challenge other than your own results.
- I’ll be posting some meal ideas and recipes throughout the challenge, as well as mentioning resources, supplements that I find are helpful.
