What wouldn’t I make? I love doing roasts, whole chickens, stock, veggies, soup, etc. My crock pot has bit the bullet, so I need a new one! Great giveaway! :)

Kei December 20, 2013 at 12:40 pm

I have loved anything that Lydia has recommended. This would be a great addition to my kitchen!

I would love to make anything in a slow cooker, but since being diagnosed I haven’t made anything.

jacquie December 22, 2013 at 5:41 pm

I have not ever had a slow cooker so I’m not sure what I would make first – perhaps some veggie chili or some soup.

Marion December 22, 2013 at 6:08 pm

Let’s make soup!

Michelle December 22, 2013 at 6:08 pm

I would love to cook bone broths, roasts, and fajitas in this crock pot!

Taren Marvets December 22, 2013 at 6:11 pm

Oh the possibilities and where to start…. Would love to make oatmeal in it, bone broth, and some good old chicken noodle soup!!!! With this weather and snow just about anything tasty and warm!!!! Thanks for the contest and good luck everyone!!!

Marianne December 22, 2013 at 6:15 pm

Just recently found you while looking for slow cooker ideas, and immediately shared your blog on my fb. Very timely offer, as in October, a jar in my travel trailer fell out and onto my crockpot, while in transit. Not only cost me a lovely jar, filled with quinoa, but I am now using an injured crockpot… piece missing from the lip, and one handle half gone, lol.

Natalie December 22, 2013 at 6:18 pm

I would make roasts and lots of soups, bone broths :(

Kelly Earl December 22, 2013 at 6:19 pm

I’m very interested in the probe feature – I’d have to make a roast first!

Rachel K December 22, 2013 at 6:20 pm

I would love to cook roasts, chicken and soup in my new slow cooker!

AnnieC December 22, 2013 at 6:21 pm

I would love to win this and use it for oatmeal in the morning and healthy dinners for my family. I’d also use it to make bone broths.

JoAnn December 22, 2013 at 6:28 pm

I need a new slow cooker. I use mine all the time. This would be great to win. :)

Julie December 22, 2013 at 6:29 pm

I would love to win this! My crockpot broke and I need one to make bone broths, chicken soup, spicy Indian eggplant, brisket, and other favorite dishes!

Candice December 22, 2013 at 6:29 pm

My slow cooker is on the cheap side and isn’t programmable, so I do need a new one. Love that it comes with a cookbook as well. Thanks for the giveaway! :)

Candice December 22, 2013 at 6:34 pm

I’d make roasts, chili and stews with this slow cooker.

Allison Davis December 22, 2013 at 6:30 pm

I want to make yam and chorizo stew!

Tina Marie December 22, 2013 at 6:32 pm

I love cooking this way! Mine is almost 12 years old and is used many times every month…. Sometimes a few times a week. My favorite thing to cook is broth and then soups. Although I love ribs and roasts too. :)

Patty December 22, 2013 at 6:46 pm

Bone broth!

lori December 22, 2013 at 7:02 pm

french stew.

Gini December 22, 2013 at 7:06 pm

I would make roast and bone broth!

By the way, I would love to get past the first couple of entries, but I am unable to follow more people on Twitter right now. I’ve even unfollowed others to make room, and it still won’t let me. So I can’t get past the first two entries to even see the rest… :(

Sandra Bjorkman December 22, 2013 at 7:14 pm

I am not sure what I’d like to cook first: something yummy and delicious like the lamb meatball recipe or to go for the gusto and smother myself and my loved ones with the chocolate volcano cake!! Cake in crock pot! Who would’ve ever thought it would be possible?

Renee December 22, 2013 at 7:17 pm

I think a big batch of Jambalaya would be the first thing I’d cook in it.

Catherine Griffice December 22, 2013 at 7:23 pm

I would use it to make bone broth…

Lorina December 22, 2013 at 7:52 pm

Crock post roast chicken! Then bone broth! mmmm!

Sheila Daniel December 22, 2013 at 7:52 pm

After roasting a chicken I would then make bone broth in the crock pot! Yummm

Christine December 22, 2013 at 8:11 pm

Love making soups in the crockpot. Yum

Sharon December 22, 2013 at 8:23 pm

This crock pot would be perfect for making a whole chicken — slow cooked, then shredded to use in various dishes. After that — bone broth for my puppy.

Laurie S December 22, 2013 at 9:11 pm

This is tough!! I have struggled with my weight and health most of my life up until 2 1/2 years ago when I had weight loss surgery and I’m down almost 100lbs. I had a set back after my surgery as a result of a motor vehicle accident that has my exercise almost non existent and weight loss is non existent. Since my accident, I have been doing a lot of research and educating myself about food and the dangers that lurk in the food we as consumers consume. As the New Year approaches I’m hoping to take what I have learned and put it to good use. If I was fortunate enough to win this, I would definitely use this to make some of the new clean eating recipes I have found. Thanks for an awesome give-away.

Kim December 22, 2013 at 9:44 pm

I am looking forward to cooking the Slow Cooker Pot Roast with Shallots and Baby Carrots . what a great recipe and giveaway.

Christy December 22, 2013 at 9:52 pm

I would like to make bone broth…something I haven’t tried doing yet… :)

Mary December 22, 2013 at 10:54 pm

Going to make your braised cabbage in the slow cooker for dinner tomorrow. Your description was very convincing! If I win the slow cooker in your give-away I believe I might turn around and give it away to one of my health coaching clients who signs up for my 7 Day Winter Detox next month. Either way will definitely be recommending you braised cabbage.

Ouida Lampert December 22, 2013 at 11:23 pm

Chicken and beef bone broth, rendered tallow, chili

Heather Kiger December 23, 2013 at 1:12 am

I would make a wonderful, thick stew to go along with homemade bread. It’s winter, and a warm stew just sounds delicious right now!

Amber December 23, 2013 at 1:28 am

I would make bone broths and yummy dinners such as roasts.

Heathersue December 23, 2013 at 7:23 am

I’d make bone broths, soups, stews, breakfast casseroles: you name it. :)

Mickey Louth December 23, 2013 at 7:50 am

I have a recipe for Sweet and Sour spare ribs that I’ve been making for over 30 yrs that I’d make…it’s been a while. Now that the kids are grown, I don’t cook like I use to, but when they come to visit with their families…wow! I need more crockpots to put the meals together!

Joni owada December 23, 2013 at 9:21 am

I would love to make chili

Pam December 23, 2013 at 4:58 pm
