In honor of Celiac Awareness Month, I’m sharing a special gluten-free recipe eBook by my good friend Jessica of Delicious Obsessions. Keeping It Real
I’ve known Jessica for several years now. In fact, Jessica is a former client of mine. We keep in touch and she still comes to me for health advice from time to time. When I found out she put out a new eBook I just knew it would be an excellent resource. And indeed it is!
First off, let me say that every recipe of Jessica’s that I’ve tried has been wonderful. I can’t decide which recipe of hers is my favorite, but if I had to pick one it would her ‘Better-Than-Take-Out-Homemade-Orange-Chicken’. Can I just say, YUMMO?!
The book has a lot more than just recipes, it has info. to help you get started with gluten-free healthy foods. Lots of links to resources and how tos. Plus a great section on properly fermented foods. And I think my favorite part, aside from the recipes, is that she includes nutrient charts. The nutrient charts excite me so much because I have clients ask all the time where to get certain nutrients from their food. These charts are handy and everything is all in one convenient place. You could even print them out and hang them on your fridge or on a bulletin board in your kitchen. There are 4 charts in all; Essential Vitamins from Whole Foods, Essential Minerals from Whole Foods, Trace Minerals from Whole Foods and Essential Nutrients by Food Source.
The 85 recipes are easy to get to, just click on the recipe in the table of contents and you’ll get taken right to the recipe, no scrolling necessary. Print out each recipe easily one at a time if you like! A great resource folks, with excellent recipes! (The pictures above are all shots of recipes in the book -don’t they look amazing?!)
